SIXCAP Founder, Chairman and Chief Dealer Patrick Teng was the keynote speaker for the first two days of the Singapore Management Festival (SMF), an executive event organised by the Singapore Institute of Management together with SIXCAP as the principal sponsor. In his speeches, Mr Teng shared his take on how Small is the New Big, the chosen theme of SMF 2017, and called upon business leaders to consider how the power of the crowd and empowering co-creation could propel their businesses to be the next Big Thing.
SIXCAP was the principal sponsor for the Singapore Management Festival (SMF), an executive event organised by the Singapore Institute of Management. The event took place over three days in mid-September, and boasted an impressive array of speakers that included world-renowned artist and architect Red Hong Yi and local DJ-turned-entrepreneur Daniel Ong.
SIXCAP Founder, Chairman and Chief Dealer Patrick Teng was the first keynote speaker of the day for Senior Management Roundtable and Management Lectures, sharing his take on SMF 2017’s theme, Small is the New Big.
In his speeches, Mr. Teng spoke about the importance of harnessing the power of the crowd to create big revolutions, and touched on the importance for using the same power to co-create socioeconomic empowerment for the underprivileged, beliefs that drive SIXCAP’s initiatives in Indonesia. The initiatives, rolled out in partnership with Universiti Gadjah Mada, aim to bring healthcare awareness, jobs, and education to children and youths in the sprawling geography of the Indonesian archipelago.
